Your account in Bytful is mostly about access: signing in, restoring purchases, and making sure your library follows you across devices.

What lives in your account

  • Your Bytful access level, including whether you are on Free or Pro.
  • Any purchases restored through the App Store.
  • Support and account details tied to your email address.

Bytful Free includes up to 7 saved recipes. Bytful Pro unlocks unlimited saves, Smart Plan, grocery lists, and more Chef Byte cooking help. Eligible new Pro subscribers can start with a 7-day free trial from the iPhone app.

Restoring purchases

If you paid for Bytful Pro but the upgrade is not showing:

  1. Open Bytful.
  2. Go to Account or Settings.
  3. Tap Restore Purchases.
  4. Wait a moment for the app to refresh your access.

If the restore does not work, confirm that you are signed in with the same Apple account used to buy the subscription.

Switching devices

If you move to a new iPhone, install Bytful and use the same Apple account. Then restore purchases inside the app if Pro does not appear automatically.

Billing questions

If your question is about the 7-day Pro trial, charges, renewals, refunds, or cancellation timing, start with the dedicated billing article: Managing Bytful Pro Billing.

Deleting your account

You can initiate account deletion inside Bytful from Profile > Support & Resources > Delete Account. This removes your Bytful account and saved app data, subject to legal and security retention requirements. If you have an Apple-managed subscription, cancel it separately in your Apple ID subscription settings.
