Managing Bytful Pro Billing and Free Trial

How Bytful Free, the 7-day Pro trial, App Store subscriptions, renewals, cancellations, and refunds work.

Bytful Pro billing is handled by the Apple App Store. Apple manages payment, renewals, cancellations, refunds, and regional price display.

Plans

  • Bytful Free: no charge, includes up to 7 saved recipes and the core cookbook experience.
  • Bytful Pro Monthly: 7-day free trial for eligible subscribers, then monthly billing unless canceled.
  • Bytful Pro Annual: 7-day free trial for eligible subscribers, then yearly billing unless canceled.

Starting the 7-day Pro trial

You can start the Bytful Pro trial from inside the iPhone app when the App Store purchase sheet appears. Apple shows the plan, price, trial length, renewal date, and cancellation terms before you confirm.

If you are eligible for the introductory offer, the first 7 days are free. After that, Bytful Pro renews through Apple unless you cancel before the renewal date.

Where to manage your subscription

  1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
  2. Tap your Apple ID at the top.
  3. Tap Subscriptions.
  4. Select Bytful.
  5. Choose Cancel Subscription or switch between available plans.

Restoring a purchase

If you upgraded on another device and Pro is not showing:

  1. Open Bytful.
  2. Go to Account or Settings inside the app.
  3. Tap Restore Purchases.

Refunds

Refunds are handled by Apple.

Common billing questions

  • If you cancel, Pro stays active until the current billing period ends.
  • If you cancel during the trial, Apple prevents the subscription from renewing after the trial.
  • If a payment fails, Apple may retry the charge before canceling the subscription.
  • If you change plans, Apple applies the change through your App Store account.
